Cold Ink Casefiles (“we”, “us”) operates coldinkcasefiles.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what choices you have. We keep it short and plain because that is how we write everything.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you request the free mini-mystery or subscribe to our list.
- Basic analytics: pages visited, device type, and referral source, collected through Google Analytics. This is aggregate and not used to identify you personally.
- Anything you send us through the contact form or by email.
How we use it
- To send you the free case file and, if you stay subscribed, occasional emails about new cases. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages and offers work, so we can improve the site.
- To answer your questions.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and your data passes through them only to deliver what you asked for:
- Systeme.io stores our email list and sends our emails.
- Google Analytics provides aggregate site statistics.
- Hostinger hosts the website.
If you buy a kit through Amazon, your purchase is governed by Amazon’s own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
- Ask us to delete your data by emailing hello@coldinkcasefiles.com. We will remove you from our list and records.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to run the site and to collect the aggregate analytics described above. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Children
Our games are for ages 16 and up. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
